How metrd records battery cell readings.

Cell-level data gives a finer view of battery health than pack-level state of charge alone. metrd records per-cell voltages where the inverter exposes them.

Availability

Cell readings are only available on inverters that expose individual cell registers over Modbus. Cloud API modes do not provide cell data.

Recorded values

• Per-cell voltage (mV)
• Min and max cell voltage across the pack
• Cell temperature where available
