Devices

The solar arrays, batteries, chargers, and meters metrd reads from.

A device is one part of your system: a solar array, battery, inverter, grid connection, house, or EV charger. metrd creates them automatically when you add an integration - you don't add them yourself.

You'll use devices when configuring a display and setting a tariff.

Managing devices

Under Devices in the dashboard you can:

• Rename a device
• See its Readings
• Set tariff on a grid device
• Disable a device you don't need. It stops recording, but keeps its history.
